Consequences of climate change on the planet

The Earth always has been subject to changes. Changes are natural parts of the planets, they can have variations in their structure, climate, temperature, life, etc. For example, we can mention that the continents weren´t the same in the past and now. There have also been ice ages due to volcanic explosions and natural changes in sea level.

Previously mentioned has in common that these changes are been naturals. However, we live an alarming phenomenon today: the humans are changing the conditions in our planet. This situation is worrying because the effects of these alterations are turning our home into an uninhabitable place.

We are seeing today like live a pandemic, forest fire for the lack of the rains and the high temperatures are only the beginning of what can happen.

Experts have pointed out that if we do not do something to counteract climate change, the fires will become more aggressive and frequent, because the dry season will lengthen and the temperature will continue to rise.

The polar ice will melt and the humid areas will be rain
ier, as well as the warmer arid areas. In turn, the sea level will rise and we will possibly lose not only beaches, otherwise entire cities.

The outlook sounds a bit gloomy, but here is the question, what can we do?

It is important to think that the solution will be integral, we cannot do everything, but we can do a big part. We will need three factors: society, industries or companies and the government

We are going to need to change our type of consumption: consume less water, buy clothes consciously, avoid single-use plastics and also take them to recycling. Something very important is that everything will be easier when we start to be a community and have empathy and trust with each other.

Companies will need to change their linear production system and make it circular; all products will have a purpose more than just being used and discarded, but they will take care to return their products to the production line or integrate them into another. In turn, they have to be transparent with their processes and responsible with their workers.

Governments will have to create environmental management laws and be firm with them to have a visible result, as well as initiatives that involve society to participate in a change.

The future is uncertain and unpromising, predictions of it are unfavorable, but by working together we can achieve real change and counteract the damage caused to our common home.
